Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of MaryOne of my favorite Catholic resources I’ve found since becoming a Catholic Newbie is PrayMoreNovenas.com. They regularly pray novenas (a set of prayers to a specific saint or intention for nine days in a row), and when you sign up, you get a daily email with the day’s prayer. I don’t know about you, but that helps me remember to pray tremendously!

Coming up next on October 4, I am joining more than 63,000 Catholics who will be praying the Novena to the Immaculate Heart of Mary with Pray More Novenas. They’ve selected this novena because our humble Pope Francis is planning a Marian Day celebration at the Vatican where he will consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on October 13. How amazing that is and how blessed we are!

PrayMoreNovenas.com is organizing this novena as a way for us to join in unity with the Holy Father and prepare for this event.

I highly encourage you to join and try it this wonderful free Catholic resource! Sign up to get the prayer emails here. If you like it, share it with your friends, on Twitter and on Facebook. The more people praying, the bigger impact we’ll have!

Mother Mary, pray for us!
